Not enough room for the vive with audio strap.
AndySeptember 5, 2017
The picture is a misleading. If you are going to use it for transporting your gear, then you need a separate case for the plug cords and stands for the lighthouses. Also if you have the new audio strap for the vive, it doesn't crumple up to tuck in behind the goggles. The headset will end up using the full width of the case which won't leave room for the controls or the lighthouses. If you just using the case to store the headset and controls then it's ok for that but overkill.
Needs to be a bit bigger to fit accessories.

I bought this for VR parties, and at first it was great. It met all needs.

Then I bought the upgraded head strap (hard) for 99$ and now it no longer fits in the case. If I "force" it, the case no longer closes right.

At the time I bought it, it was good, but if you buy the upgraded hard head strap (WHICH I SUGGEST YOU DO, SINCE IT MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD), it will no longer fit everything in this case.

Just an FYI

I was unsure about getting this because a couple reviews say it won't fit everything for the vive but I went ahead and got it and I was able to fit everything that came with the vive into it no problems. I was also able to fit 3 extra foam face covers and I could probably squeeze a couple more cables if I had to but it is a tight fit but it works
Fits *Some* of the HTC Vive - Not All

It will hold the "main components": headset, controllers, cameras but no way you fit in the remaining power adapters, cables, etc. You could cram it all in and sort of close the top but then it just becomes a glorified, overpriced box.
Only enough space for the Vive
BeTKEFebruary 19, 2017
It works for whats out there, Its not perfect and its a bit on the pricey side. I do find it is just enough space for what comes in the HTC vive box nothing more... However I bought after marker sensor box clamps. I struggle to fit them got forbid i had anymore accessories, if there was just a tad more space it would be perfect.
