Very nice clock
Dennis Lodge✓ Verified Purchase•March 28, 2018
very nice clock but I think something in my house prevents them from working right. I have bought two different types now and neither one will update the time by themselves...not sure if my house is haunted or lined with kryptonite or what but they just don't seem to want to update...not a big deal though as they still seem to keep pretty good time...they look nice and I am happy with them.I am working on building a sun dial in my front yard now so I can just update the time daily myself anyway...should work just as well.
The clock itself is very easy to read, large numbers...easy to set manually if you have the same problem as I do an is just overall a very nice clock. The alarm sounds for 60 seconds and then shuts off on its own so you don't have to mess with it to turn that off which I really like. I would still recommend this clock even if you need to make a sundial to set it.

OK. had to send the 1st one back because on the left side of th clock face. there were black lines. i wanted for 30 mins for the clock to get room temp. the lines were still there. so i sent it back, i requested same clock got it yesterday nothing was wrong with it so far it is working nice and it looks nice in our kitchen. ARNIE GRAZIANO RIVERHEAD NY I WOULD RECOMMEND ANY MARATHON CLOCKS I HAVE 3 OF THERE CLOCKS.
Great size, very clear with accurate time keeping, auto summer time adjustment and I love the seconds accuracy.

When I first unpacked it I thought the size of the numbers were very large, however hanging it on my wall it is actually a very good size. Like all Atomic clocks it shows that it is not always connected, but that would probably drain the battery and it is connected every other day so keeps exceptionally accurate time, especially with summer time saving switching. I love that I know how accurate it is and it clearly shows the seconds as well a minutes. Good accurate temperature sensor. Good clear month, date and day of week indicator. I'm thinking of getting one for another room.
Nice looking clock, not accurate if it can't sync often

This is a very nice, slim clock with very large digits. I have an older version of this clock and am I little disappointed that this version so prominently features the humidity at the expense of shrinking the date and day. I need to know what day it is, well, daily. The humidity? Eh, it's an interesting data for curiosity, but not something I really want to know all the time.
This clock is out in Boston, and while I realize that puts it rather far from the atomic signal, it means it really doesn't sync on my wall facing the signal all that often. As in I've never seen it do so in about a month, unless I take it off the wall and prop it up against the window at the right time.
"Oh, well, Chuck, what does it matter that it's not synced to the absolute exact millionth of a second every day?" A decent bit. The clock, while it might sync to the atomic signal, is not all that accurate at keeping time by itself. In under a month of not syncing it's now running about 16 seconds slow. The whole point of a big digital atomic clock showing seconds is that it's supposed to tell you the right time at a glance. If it's going to be drifting so much I can't even be sure of the minute without taking the clock off the wall every few weeks...well, that sort of defeats the purpose.
If you live closer to the signal or with less interference it might not be an issue for you.

I like atomic clocks as wall clocks because there's no need ...

The numbers are big enough to be seen across a big room, and the design itself is fairly minimalist. I like atomic clocks as wall clocks because there's no need to set them manually (particularly when daylight savings time comes into effect), and unlike analog clocks, there's no annoying tick-tock sound when the second hand moves.
I recommend getting the black frame over the silver frame because there's a bit more contrast.
