Only a few buttons to worry about and it lights up. We got this a few months ago and Granny hasn't lost it and has complete confidence in it's use.

They both work fine. The size is very comfortable(narrower than the Tek) ...

I had no trouble pairing two of these with two different TV's for my father. They both work fine. The size is very comfortable(narrower than the Tek) for 1 handed use. I removed the strap as that just gets in the way.

After failing to get the piggy-back type remotes to work on the Fire TV remote, I opted for this. Its simple and has all the buttons I need. Just have to turn on/off TV and control the sound. Much better than dragging out the regular remote with over 30 buttons I am not using..
The piggy-back remotes work at first but then go bad .. so I gave up on those. This is perfect.

Wish there was a guide button. To see what the numbers for the channels are. Not sure we're even going to try it. It would be helpful to my mother so might give it a try. Already to late to send back. I absolutely think Amazons return window is way to short for busy people!

Bought for Mom... Limited functions work fine. Lighted display a nice feature. Programs easily. Lower priced that the competition's (which we had and stopped working in less than a year).
