As a rule, I almost never give 5 stars to any vendor. Suaoki is an exception.

As a rule, I almost never give 5 stars to any vendor. Suaoki is an exception.
I bought this unit and their Portable Solar Panel on 9/11/17, (after Hurricane Irma devastated my town). It sat in my closet for 5 months, After 3 northeasters hit New England within 2 weeks, I decided to check my equipment. The charger was down 1 bar. I couldn't find its' wall charger. All Suaoki required was proof of purchase. They sent, at No Charge, a replacement charger. This is above and beyond customer service!
Suaoki's customer service is second to none!

In general this provides a variety of power sources in a convenient and portable package. There are several cons which make it not so nice. First the USB ports do not have power unless you turn on the power inverter. Which means that additional battery power is wasted when you only need USB power. You could get around this by using a USB power adapter which plugs in to the cigarette socket, then attach that cigarette socket to one of the 12 Volt outputs. The second issue is that there is no way to turn off the power to the 12 volt outputs. So you have to unplug your 12 volt items if you want to stop using power. The third (and in my opinion the most serious issue), is that if you accidentally overload the 12 volt outputs, the unit will cut off power. At this point the only way to reset the unit is to plug it into a power source like you would if you are going to recharge it. Otherwise the unit will not provide any power at all. This is fine if you are around another power source like at home or your car, but if you are away in the wilderness you will be stuck without power. It would have been a lot nicer if there was a reset button that you could press if you accidentally overload the 12 volt output. If you overload the 120 volt output, you can remove the overload, then just turn off the inverter and turn it back on, and it will start working. But no way to reset an overload of the 12 volt outputs, without plugging into regular power.

Finally got this thing working properly with a solar panel: You will need the following items available from Amazon:
1) Power Meter RC Watt Meter DC 60V/100A Power Analyzer Digital LCD Balance Battery Voltage Checker Watt Volt Amp Meter This thing is great. It gives you all the data you need to know that you are pumping electrons.
2) Giaride Solar Extension Cable with MC4 Female and Male Connector DC 5.5mm x 2.1mm and 3.5x1.35mm COOLIS Solar Panel Connector Adapter Cable MC4 to DC 5.5mm x 2.1mm I purchased 2 other 3.5 mm connectors which were garbage. The wire was too small and the one from Suaoki was wired backwards
3) 2 pair of 9" Solar Extension Cables to wire the power meter inline with the connector.Renogy AK-9IN-12 One Pair of 9In. 12AWG Adaptor Kit Solar Cable Pv with Mc4 Female & Male Connectors - Connect Solar Panel & Charge Controller
4) A Solar Panel: I bought the 100 watt Suaoki on sale for $99.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DXYNGA0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
In bright sun I get 3 amps and 60 watts charging the PS.

THIS IS A LIFE SAVER!!!!!!

THIS IS A LIFE SAVER!!!!!! It was a real hassle getting it to Puerto Rico (lithium battery and such) where it's needed the most. I had to send it to Jacksonville and there my sister sent it to PR via boat. Notwithstanding, it works like a charm. I bought it for my dad who uses a CPAP machine and with the battery it can run all night. Thank you so much for the product, it really has helped a lot during these times of crisis and calamity after Hurricane Maria.
Lightweight, quiet

This charger was one of three things I took on my last road trip that proved invaluable. It kept my laptop and phones charged while I was camped. This is a lightweight little box with two USB and one AC outlet. No more draining the car battery when camped somewhere.
It takes about nine hours to charge, so make sure it's plugged in overnight before a long trip, then keep it charged using either the DC or AC plug that comes with this . It can not charge and be charged at the same time. Five blue LED lights blink while it is charging, letting you know how much battery power is left. Five blinking lights mean it's fully charged, one blinking light means the battery is low and needs to charge up again.
