This was tight on my feet, and it has an odd smell. It is not a leather smell, more a glue or chemical smell.

I do not know why I love these shoes so much, but I just think that they are super-adorable. They fit exactly as I expected. They are a little stiff, but I imagine they will become more broken-in and supple the more I wear them. So fun to wear with a menswear inspired outfit or with jeans. Versatile.

I ordered these for a dress-up event attending the local premiere of "Murder on the Orient Express". I read many of the previous reviews, but these shoes exceeded my expectations in every way. From the beautiful shade of pink to the excellent craftsmanship evident in the design, these shoes are worth at least twice as much as I paid. They fit like a dream, with no 'break-in' period needed. I wear prescription inserts and they fit perfectly in these shoes. I'm sure I could have worn them without and been as comfortable. I am a bohemian dresser, so classic shoes are a risk for me. These will transition nicely from classic style to more daring looks because of the delightful shade of pink. I wear size 8 and ordered my correct size.
