My husband needed something to take scuba equipment to Curacao. Worked out perfectly.
This bag holds it all

This backpack holds all my scuba gear other backpacks can't.
Good bag for Advanced/Tech Diving too

As others have pointed out, this bag opens up to another dimension in which you can stow all your gear and a kitchen sink. It's wonderful. We have a pair that we use for our side mount diving rigs. I don't plan to air travel with them out of concern that they won't fit in the overheads of small aircraft, but they work great for local diving.

My only complaint is that the straps that hold the fins to the sides doesn't have any extra slack to them. They are the same length as the bag, so when you attach your fins the bag gets compressed. If you've put a lot of stuff in the bag, there's no extra room! I'll have to modify them at some point. Less than an extra 3 inches would have been all that's required.
Won’t fit all your gear if you have a zeigel

Tight fit for all your gear. And definitely cannot fit the matching regulator bag if you've got a back bladder system. You can muscle your gear into this but very tight fit and the fin straps need to be about an inch longer. I really wanted to love this bag. Zero extra room. I crammed a small ranger, 3 Mil wetsuit, gloves, mask (no box) snorkel and booties. No room for the knife or hood and definitely not the regulator bag or go pro. You might more comfortably fit most of your gear if you have some other sort of bcd. And carry the reg bag separate. You can fit all your gear and reg bag if you carry the bcd separate. No situation in which it all fits.
Can fit all dive gear and more

There are a lot of reviews here about being able to fit a lot of stuff and I find it true also. All my gear will fit incl. BC (Pro HD or custom Halcyon [similar set-up to the Adventurer Pro]), 2 sets of regs (Aqualung Legend MBS & Elite) in the AKONA classic reg bag, 2 masks (Aqualung Look2 in front pocket & Aqualung Teknika in my BC pocket), dive computer, camera (GoPro), fins on the side (aqualung storm) and 2-3 wetsuits (2mm shorty, 3mm & 5mm full), and extra misc items (compass, gloves, DIN-to-yoke converters, spares, etc).

I've flown with it 6 times now (just getting back from another trip) and have never had any problems with it being accepted/allowed as carry on. It fits in the overhead bins easily on most medium size and larger aircraft. I will echo some others that it can get a little uncomfortable on your back. Not much padding in the back or straps, but I will usually put my wetsuit(s) or towel(s) on the back portion to give some extra cushioning. It is great to have when going somewhere that roller luggage is not practical (i.e. where streets/walkways are not paved [e.g. sand/crushed limestone in Belize]), but roller luggage, of course, is much easier when conditions allow.
