Why The Extra Blades? Do They Wear Out Quickly?

I bought this because a little moisture always gets into my 'Stang ragtop after a rainstorm and I wind up with a windshield that's fogged-up on the inside. I don't know how--maybe where the top meets the windshield frame. Anyway, they give you a couple of replacement blades with it. I've never had that with a car squeegee before and it leads me to wonder if the silicone rubber wears out more quickly than the old-style rubber.

This is a great squeegee for your shower! This is also my first silicone squeegee, not as different to use as some might try to say. It is very light and the foam makes a nice handle. I have already dropped it several times, so it seams like it will last a good amount of time. I would have given it 5 stars if they had included a suction cup hook to hang it on. Even if they charged a few dollars more I would have easily paid for it. Of course I can always hang it on my shower caddy, but it gets in the way of the razors and other stuff hanging on it. I love how using it on your shower keeps it cleaner, especially the glass door. It will also help with mold and mildew build up.

I have only used it once as I'm traveling but I have one comment that may be an issue and another that's my fault. First is the blade tapers out on one side causing it to not sit flat on the glass. I know two extra blades were included and maybe I just need to adjust the current one to make it work. Second, it's too small. That of course is my fault. The previous squeegee was much wider making cleaning the glass in my shower a much faster job. This one is twice the work. I will update my feedback upon my returning home.

I was getting annoyed by the water spots on my showers and started using a squeezee just so my shower glass looked good. I went through two cheapie squeezees before I realized that there is indeed a benefit to a quality squeezee. Who would have thounk. The nice thing about this one is the silicon blade. You don't need to press hard in order to leave a streakless surface. In fact, the instructions state that sliding it lightly is the best method and true to form, it worked flawlessly. I gave it four stars rather than five because it's a bit pricey for what it is. If it were a couple bucks cheaper, it would have earned a 5-star rating for performance and value.
