I've had these mounted a little over a month and there is already significant rusting of critical pieces and you will notice the warranty does not cover rusting. The locking mechanism is garbage. The swing arms being locked down does not align the locking mechanism when even a single pair of skis are in the rack. You have to climb up in the car door and mash everything together to align it to either lock or unlock it and the whole thing feels like it will fly apart going down the freeway eventually. There is also no way you are getting 6 pairs of any sort of modern ski in here. Maybe cross country skis, but you'd be putting so much eject pressure on the locking apparatus you'd probably loose them all over the road. Spend a little extra money and get a good rack unless you are only hauling around cheap rental skis and don't care about the lives or the insurance claims of the drivers behind you.
