I'm pleased with these outlets. I have one next to my bed, in fact right behind where my head lays. I like that the USB plug ins are on top, that all three electrical plug ins are useable, for my cords anyway, and I like that the wall out below is still useable. I shopped design and I am not disappointed. The fact that it adds surge protection makes these plugs over the top for me. If I had to find something to suggest different for improvement I guess that thickness (depth), which is still very acceptable, could be thinner if doing so were possible. Someone else mentioned hearing a hum or noise emanating from theirs. I don't have that issue, but I wouldn't like that. So I am recommending these multi outlets and believe they are an exceptional value.

I like that you able to acces the bottom socket while plugging this into your top socket on your wall.
However, when trying to unplug anything, including USB cords, the outlet comes completely out of your wall socket. I contacted the company but their response was to hold the product against the with one hand while unplugging the cord with my other hand,which happens to be extremely difficult when you have placed this behind a piece of furniture or your outlet is low to the ground.
Shouldn't have to be a contortionist to use this product and this company would do themselves a favor by being more helpful in their responses.

Great value by a factor of Two. These quality surge protectors are well made and expanding capability of existing wall sockets by fifty percent, while adding essential USB charging capability. Many times I've misplaced my phone charger, so adding one of these to my kitchen and one to the living room, enables me to power up my cell phone and tablet, or charge them, as the may be required. There are various versions of this surge protector, some with the wall plugs on the top, and some with a night light, so you may wish to check Amazon to be sure you order the right one.

I completely agree with one of the other posts. There is a very annoying, high-pitched buzzing noise emitted from the unit making it virtually unusable for applications such as a USB charging station next to the bed or other areas where quiet operation is important. I attached a video so that you can hear what I'm talking about. And unfortunately for us, having them next to the bed is the reason we had purchased them. Now they have now have had to be relocated to areas of the house where the buzzing sound isn't such a big concern. I wish that I would have known before buying.

I wish I had a good experience. There's always one bad one though. Well this one was mine. I bought a double of 2 packs. Not a single one had every outlet work on it. Something was wrong with every single outlet. Sellers response.......send back to China and I will see about a refund. NO THANKS! Hassle!!!!! beware of electronics. Lost out on this one. Pretty disappointed.
