This snowblower was selling at a price I couldn't pass up.Free delivery was a huge bonus.Assembly was not too difficult, but to install the lower rear frame just take off the tires right away and it will make it easier.Overall quality seems good.A little over spray on the paint job, welds are done decently and should hold up to normal use.I'm 5'10 and the height of the handles are perfect for me.Skids are thick and tires have very good tread design.This blower compares favorably to other machines in the $500 to $700 price range.Its not built quite as solidly as machines I looked at that were $900 and up.But this one is a little lighter in weight and fairly easy to manuver and turn.I'm satisfied with it and looking forward to some snow to test it out.

I believe this is a very well constructed machine, heavy duty and capable. (I have not used it yet) I will say my only complaint was that the instructions are a bit cryptic. That's Ok - that's why I you tubed it for the full version. My one big complaint is the roll pin installation. This is something that could be factory installed without an issue, but because of its location & how tight it is.....what a pain to install. That single step took as long as the entire snowblower assembly combined.

I give this machine 5 stars solely for its performance! We just had a decent storm with over 12 inches, and after the loose went through, it was close to 17 or 18 inches, and this snow blower was up to the challenge. With that much snow, obviously you aren't going to get through it quickly, but it certainly lived up to my expectations. This storm was fluffy snow on to but wet snow underneath, and it handled it well. I must make note that it is a heavy machine, so maneuverability could be challenging for some, and if you are like me and not very mechanically inclined, assembly is challenging as well! But again, Even with the challenges, my rating is for the performance of the machine, which I am very happy with so far!

Okay this is my second year of using this baby and I love it. The shear pins broke and I had to install the spare that came with the unit. I have subsequently purchase 2 sets of shear and cotter pins and I also purchased a pair of tires. Not that I need them now but i purchased them as a precaution. This baby works like a charm and I love it. Now concerning customer service. Yes they can be a pain but the lady told me that because of COVID alot of staff members have been working from home hence the sometime late response. She gave me her personal email address and when I need to contact them I send an email to support.yardmax.com and copy her. They always call back. Maybe I am lucky. I would reccomend the product. It has a good price point for my budget and it has been working fine so far apart from the breaking of the shear pins which I described earlier.

Bought the YB6770 snowblower in Oct 2021 have used it twice, both times in January 2022 the first time it started on the first pull and was great. The second time I used it, it would not start with the pull start only the electric start. I have used it for a max time of about 1 1/2 hrs. I tried to start it today 2/14/2022 and it would not start either way. I have emailed YARDMAX 4 times and have called twice with not response, not sure anybody works there. Customer service sucks and so does there product would not recommend this product to anyone. Have a new snowblower I cant use. Not sure what I can do legally.
