durable and cute, but difficult to put on

Cute and durable and my daughter loves them. The biggest problem for me is that the straps don't go straight across - you have to loop them trough a plastic part to put them on. Doesn't seem like it would be a problem except that it means my girl can't get them on by herself - and even for me, putting them on is a little bit of a hassle. If the straps just went straight across, I'd give these a 10/10!

I bought this safety pad set for my 4 year old (soon to be 5) to wear with roller skates. They are a LITTLE too big for her, but she will just get more use/wear out of them. The pads protect the injury prone spots (hands, elbows, and knees) They go on easy with Velcro straps and they are good quality!

I like that my kiddo is excited to put them on and likes the color. They're not much more than just plastic. But, they will do the job. I was expecting a little more than just hard plastic (I'm not sure what) but it's not like she's hit the BMX circuit yet either. Bought these and a helmet separate.

The elbow and knee pads are pretty good and have definitely done their duty and well. Unfortunately my 4 yr old is on the thinner side so they are loose on her. We have been able to mostly make them work so far. My only recommendation would be to make the straps mirrors of each other so the remaining strap isn't rubbing the inside of her arm or leg. In other words, create a distinct right and left elbow and knee pad so when you fasten them, the end of the straps are pointing away from the body.
