My husband and I a city hopped around spain, Portugal and Morocco this summer and this bag was a lifesaver. Our checked luggage got lost so we only had my carry-on, his carry-on and this bag for 2 weeks of our 3 week trip. This bag not only was safe and secure because of the anti-theft features, it also is roomy enough to serve as a pseudo carry-on and the bright lining inside makes it a little bit easier to see things in the bag. The bags compartments and straps are made out of a durable,comfortable material and the hardware is very high quality. There's lots of extra cushioning on the panel that faces the carriers back so even when carrying books or trinkets back to our hotel room, we were never in any kind of pain from poking or prodding. It was comfortable for both myself, a taller than average woman, and my husband, an average size guy, to carry. The bag is very deep and it's difficult to zip up if it's not seated on a table or a chair or something but that's part of the anti-theft features of this bag. If it's difficult to unzip it follows that it might be difficult to sit back up. Either way, that should not deter you from this bag. I personally loved it. It's very comfortable to carry for multiple hours and has lots of pockets and ruminate for everything you need. If you're a more condensed traveler you may be able to use this as a small carry-on for a weekend trip. I cannot say enough about this bag and I'm very happy I purchased it. Well worth the price. Will definitely be using many times in the future.

This bag was perfect for my personal item to carry on a plane. I packed a compression bag with an extra set of clothes and put that at the bottom and the rest of my items fit nicely. The top lock is a little tricky. I do wish that the zippers snapped down to the side of the bag and that the front pocket zipper had a clip and hook. Overall though it was a great bag.

I typically shy away from using backpacks during travel due to fear of pickpocketing. This backpack has some nice security features which make the compartments a bit harder to open but are not too inconvenient. Hoping this will twart thieves and not me. This large size can hold a lot, including a decent sized laptop. I am tempted to get the smaller size as well for when I don't need to carry a laptop.

I have used this backpack for one international and two domestic business trips so far and have found it to be very convenient.

* The security features seem excellent. Thankfully, I have not been in a situation where they were tested (i.e. no one tried to rob it or take it), but I have no doubt that it would function as it is advertised. Some have mentioned that the front closure which secures the zipper pulls is difficult to use when the backpack is on just one shoulder. I did not find it to be difficult, but it did take just a moment or two extra.
* It is roomy inside with a padded laptop compartment. The inner compartment also includes one medium size zipper pocket (great for passport and ticket storage), and two smaller pockets to slip a small battery pack, iPod, AirPods, etc into.
* It also has a roomy outer compartment on the front, which has two medium sized pockets large enough for a large iPhone 12 Pro Max phone.
* On the outside there are compartments with elastic which fits my 22 oz tall Hydroflask on one side and my sunglass case and my iphone tripod in the other.
* While only slightly padded, the shoulder straps are sturdy and distributes the weight of the backpack well.
* One of the main reasons why I purchased this backpack, in addition to the security features, is that it slips over the handle of my rolling carry-on. While this works well (with some effort), the straps on top can also be placed over the handle of the bag as well (for quick removal on and off the plane).

While this is a very good backpack there are a few things that could be improved:
* I wish it were just a little bit taller so that I could fit my 16" LG gram laptop into the laptop compartment. Presently it will just barely fit if I put it into the main compartment.
* While I love how the backpack slips over the handle of my rolling carry-on, the back strap is too tall which makes it difficult to work the strap over the suitcase handle. It does not just slip over the handle like it could. BUT, with that said, the strap is very secure. A thief would likely not be able to grab the case off when it is slipped over the handle.

Overall, this is a great backpack! It is the "almost" perfect size, has great conveniences and excellent security features.

I found this backpack on a few websites when looking for a travel backpack. I was drawn to the security features. Though they will not deter a determined thief (if someone wants something they can get into anything) I do think that this backpack will deter most thieves who are looking for an easy target. I bought this for city travel and the top sliding lock definitely made me feel safe to wear the backpack on my back and not worry about someone getting into it easily. It can hold a fair amount stuff for a day outing but is not too big or bulky. So far it's durable and holding up well!
