Too short to go lengthwise around a 32" bag. Wish it was longer so I could have one lengthwise and one width-wise, but it works just fine with both straps going the same way. Good design, easy to spot/read at a distance, and has survived it's first trip unscathed.
...Update 04/07/23: I've used these straps for over 30 flights now. They're holding up great mechanically, though getting dingy from all the gunk and grime that has collected along the baggage train path and rubbed off on my luggage. Nevertheless, I like them enough that I've purchased a second set. Still wish they were a little longer though.
