I was a little worried when i started this project but it ended up being easy, took me about 2 hours for the entire install. The hardest part was fishing the wire through the door gasket and for that i just cut a piece of coaxial and used that to fish the though then taped the wire to the cable and pulled though ended up working great
Cheap and effective

I bought a 2008 Chevy Impala without checking the door locks and after a few days I realized that the actuators were bad in all 4 door after replacing the relay, install was a bit time consuming if you need to change more than one clear your schedule especially if you don't know exactly what you're doing and know that you will need a drill to drill into the metal under the door panel, and you will need to remove some of the foam on a couple of panels but once installed they work NEAR flawlessly that's the reason for the 4 stars instead of the full 5 one of them got stuck after the install and I had to yank it back into the unlock position for it to work but since then so far so great.
TL;DR: Works great one of the actuators got stuck but after a good tug started working again flawlessly.

GREAT VALUE, EASY INSTALL, FLAWLESS OPERATION

Easy installation. The instructions are written on the back of the box but although they are very concise, they ate easy to understand. The actuators operate flawlessly with the two remotes provided. Four actuators for a four door vehicle (I only used two). The remote also operates rear trunk lid release and lights flash also. Actuators operate with plenty of force to spare. Excellent purchase for the money. I'm quite satisfied.
Worth $25 dollars even without all the extra features!

For $25 bucks, you can't beat this. I'm fairly handy so I was able to install the kit on my 2005 Dodge 3500 quad cab in about 4 hours. The hardest part was running the wires through the door jams. I hooked up a momentary 3 way DPDT switch to the brown and white wires to add a lock and unlock button in the cab. This kit also flashes the lights when you lock, and locks and unlocks all the doors if you lock or unlock the driver door manually. Highly recommended!
Saved Tons of Money!

The Factory style door lock actuators are built into the lock/latch assemblies on my 2001 Cherokee. The cost for those units can run from $140 to almost $200 bucks each! I did a little research, and with some creativity, my son and I installed 2 of these on the left side. It took about an hour or two for each door. They work perfectly! Total cost about $12.50 Talk about laughing all the way to the bank!
