I love fruit. Pineapple is one of my favorite foods of all time, I use it on my pizza, in my sweet and sour sauce, in my pineapples cakes, pinapple jello salad, green jello salad, with cherry and strawberry jello, as a accutrimint to my apricot, strawberry and cranberry jam. Pork and beef kabobs, and many sauces are excellent quality. I used it with my cranberries to make sauce. I love it on top of a cake, mixed in the batter and on an upside down cake. I love it in my fruit salad, as an item for my salad bar and just to munch on. I love to dry pineapple and use it as a snack.

Fresh pineapple is heavenly but this brand of pineapple chunks is excellent. It is tasty, fulfilling, adds excellent flavor to anything and in my jello salad (lime jello, sugar free cool whip, low fat sour cream and cottage cheese and walnuts mised in with pineapple). I am an excellent cook and baker so I find tons of ways to use pineapple.

This particular brand comes in this nifty plastic jar. I love it. I empty the jar and save it for craft projects. I use these in my online store for anything a canning jar can be used. I love the color of the lid but it can be changed with pain, fabric and apper. It just takes creativity. I give my crafts as gifts a lot and the things that can be placed in the clear plastic jar is amazing. My grandchildren love what I can do to make a scene in a canning jar.

Anyway, this pineapple is not in any kind of syrup sothis one does not effect my Type 2 Diabetes at all. I can eat this and not worry. It beats trying to can it myself. It is cost effective, efficient, excellent taste and texture and it is heavenly to have around.

My only change would be to provide it on Subscribe and SAve becasue that helps me budget easier and it also makes it so I never forget to order what I need. I ave to budget to the penny because my income is extremely low, 175% below the Federal Poverty Guidelines, but even so, I just have to write a list to remind me. The other change would be to hvae it in crushed and tidbits. It would help a lot. A pineapple poke cake, dumb cake or upside down cake needs crushed and tidbits. Still I am hooked on this style and I love to order at least ten jars a month because I cook and bake using it a lot. I can freeze what I cook and it saves me money in the long run.

It's ok but I prefer glass over plastic containers...

Easy peasy to dump into the blender with the 8 billion other ingredients. Pleased it offers with juice and not syrup. It's of course not as good as fresh pineapple but they're fine for cooking/baking when I can't get the giant can version.
