I used to think "˜regular' canned pineapple was good. Until I tasted this! I had seen the Deluxe Gold in my supermarket, but thought the significantly higher price wasn't worth it. Thought it was just an advertising come on. Then I noticed that AMAZON had a phenomenal case price on this DELUXE GOLD - actually MUCH CHEAPER than the "˜regular' canned pineapple at my supermarket. So I tried it. The Deluxe Gold puts regular canned pineapple to shame. From its vivid yellow color, to its marked sweetness, it is the best canned pineapple - and as close to a good fresh pineapple - that you can get.
