Lovely little tablet.
Wessley✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 28, 2023
An excellent substitute for a traditional laptop.
Great for browsing, writing, streaming, all the standard stuff. The battery life isn't bad. Four hours or so, streaming Netflix.
I would recommend charging it using the included outlet charger, as opposed to the standard Android outlet that can be used as an alternative charging port. The reason for this is that the wall-charging outlet has charged the tablet much faster than the Android USB port has, from what I've experienced.
The complaints about the resolution are ridiculous. The resolution is perfect for the size of the screen.
The touchscreen is very responsive.
The audio, as expected, is garbage. Typical tablet/laptop speakers.
Overall, though, this tablet hasn't disappointed me in any way whatsoever in the two months that I've had it. Definitely worth the price.

UPDATE: It's been a few months, and I'm noticing that the tablet freezes on occasion while streaming YouTube. Most likely a hardware issue. Other than that, it's been a faithful device.
I'm very happy with the product

I'm very happy with the product. No complaints about that. If you're buying from the seller "Harmony Buy" (like I did), just know that I suspect they bought it from Walmart, and then sold it on Amazon. So if you're anti-Walmart, this may be an issue for some. Plus you'll probably save $10 or so by buying it directly from Walmart. It wasn't a problem for me, since my local Walmarts didn't have this model, though I may have been able to buy it at walmart.com for a little less than the $99 I spent for it here on Amazon. The only reason I suspect it's from Walmart is that it had the Walmart app pre-installed and on the desktop when I first set it up. (I think the Walmart Blue-ness is probably a coincidence.)

I love this thing. I'm a laptop guy, and hate mobile phones. I decided I'd try a tablet, to see if I like it better than a phone. But the little keyboard built into this thing makes it totally worth the difference. I used to think of RCA as a cheapo brand, but between their $3 earphones (the only kind I'll buy now, as a daily many-hours-a-day podcast listener), and this machine, I now think of them as an affordable, quality brand.

It does feel like a laptop, but operates like a tablet, so we've nicknamed mine Laplet.
Very Good.

Very nice. This tablet is definitely good for the price. There shouldn't be high expectations for it though, because for being so cheap you're going to run into some issues. I found that it's not very good with Wi-Fi, as in it has to be close to the router or else it won't pick up the signal very well. The audio is bad because the speaker is on the back of the tablet and you can't hear it very well. It has lots of ports which is nice. It's nice and big and can be for practical use. The trackpad is a little hard to get used to. The scrolling feature for the track pad doesn't work well at all. Even though I said things that were wrong, it really is a good device and I think it's a deal to get it so cheap. Definitely recommend for practical use and I would just say to be careful with it because I'm sure that it is easily breakable.
The value proposition is amazing!

This is my second RCA tablet. The value proposition is amazing! I used a smaller RCA before, and it served me well (I still have it, and it still works just fine). This one has a newer version of Android, and it has a touch pad and a mouse pointer on the screen, like Windows, which is sweet. The keyboard and touch pad make this thing do a good job of imitating a true laptop. The screen quality is quite good for the things I do. In fact, the total I paid for this tablet is about what I think I would pay to just buy a new monitor for my desktop! Incredible. And, it's FAST! I purchased it primarily to do Bible studies, and I downloaded complete, searchable copies of a few different translations of the Bible. On Wifi hooked up to to a broadband internet connection, each bible version downloaded in under one minute! And, whenever I do not want the bulk of the keyboard, the two easily separate and I then have a free-standing, touch screen tablet. My other, smaller RCA functioned trouble free for a couple years (and still works fine...I just wanted a larger screen and and the newer Android), so I am not concerned about quality. None of the other tablets I looked at in this area of pricing had the detachable keyboard with touch pad. Unbeatable value!
Great for Travel & Limited Use
Mr. Saint✓ Verified PurchaseJune 11, 2023
I purchased this tablet specifically for traveling, mainly flying. So far that is the only time I actually use it. For that purpose, it works just fine. The screen quality isn't great when you're using the tablet, but once you're watching a video I don't think it is really noticeable. It might be if you're trying to watch a high-resolution video. Simply for use as a tablet to watch TV shows or movies on a plane, it works great.

The battery life is not great. I would say it sometimes lasts a complete two hour movie, but you'll be better off bringing a charger with and plugging in on the plane, if possible. I have a 20,000mAH backup battery I originally bought for phone charging to also charge this, works great.

The tablet is a little bulky for the screen size compared to more expensive tablets, but for a little over $100 you really can't beat this for limited use. I would not use this as an everyday tablet, but that is not why I purchased it in the first place. Definitely recommend for travel to watch movies/TV, but nothing else.
