Best iron on the market

I love this iron. Very safe (you don't have to stand it up so less chance of it falling over). Less chance of burning your clothes. Definitely worth the price.
Perfect iron

I have had a total shoulder implant three years ago--I can't lift much weight. But I can use this iron all day long in quilt making without shoulder pain or weakness. I couldn't sew without it. It give lots of steam; it doesn't leak. It's very hot very quickly. I love this iron.
Great for sewing!

This is a great iron for home sewers. A commercial quality gravity feed iron is not right for me because I don't have room to keep my ironing board near my sewing machine and there's a real risk I'll leave the iron on.
There's plenty of steam. The sole plate has few holes, so you don't get so many dead spots when fusing interfacing, and the 30 minute auto shutoff is just right. Iron heats up really quickly, too. This iron is a good example of careful design.

This Iron is a WINNER in my book!

Love, love , love this iron. I waited quite a while to get this iron. Before shelling out my hard cash I wanted to do my homework. I think this iron is extremely good for the value. I am a wanna be quilter and I also sew the grandkids quite a few clothes. I love the extra long cord, plus the fact that I can just "park it" is the best feature ever. It's nose is a little sharper than my old one so easier to get into those funny places. It heats up at lightening speed and stay hot and ready to work for a full 30 minutes. The ball roller where the cord goes into the iron. Is a bonus too.
It worked GREAT..

I bought one of these a few years ago at a Sewing Expo. It worked GREAT ... for about a year. Then it totally fried one day. I contacted Oliso, since it was still under warranty, but Oliso wouldn't do anything, telling me I had to return it to whomever I purchased it. Okay, how many of you keep records of independent contractor expo vendors??? All I had was a carbon copy of the receipt but no name (typical at these types of events). I had, however, kept all the packaging and warranty paperwork (and I had registered it upon receipt w/ Oliso as well), so I at least had enough to know it was still under warranty and I was due a replacement. It took a LOT of research to find the vendor who was at that particular expo, and he sent me a replacement iron ... a used one. Again, nothing Oliso would do. The second one last about the same amount of time before the electronics in it went haywire and it, too, became an expensive piece of junk. This iron works GREAT ... for a while. Just know that Oliso won't help you, so keep GOOD records of where you purchased it. You're going to need it.
