I use it for outdoor recess. It works well and the siren sound along with being able to record is a plus for getting everyone's attention. I have small hands and it's easy to handle and light weight. The color choices were cool too. The teal works well with my beach vibe.

Megaphone is pretty light, maybe about 2 pounds if I had to gestimate, with a foldable handle for more compact storage. Super easy to turn on and off with just a single powerbutton, changing the batteries is just as easy with a single black button on the underside of the device to pop it open. though reading which polarity (minus and plus) goes where was a little confusing at first since the symbols are on the 'lid' where the battery container is, not a real problem just took a second to figure out which one went where. Siren button is, very effective with, from what I remember, three different siren noises of varying pitch depending on how many times the button is pressed, turning it off by pressing said button more times. Record and play buttons are fun to mess around with, though you have to get relatively close to the speaker for it to pick up, same with actually using it normally. One major downside in my opinion though, turning the volume up, is deafening. pressing the V+ button to up the volume lets out a very loud chime from the device that seems almost dispreportionate to the actual volume your voice will be which hurts my ears, so not great if you have sensitive hearing in that case. All together a good buy and worth the price.

I run a theatre program and this megaphone works when we are doing certain things but doesn't get loud enough to go over the music and singing when needed. Next time I would buy one that goes a bit louder.

Love this megaphone and use it daily on the playground. It's loud, has a clear sound and hasn't died yet (it's been 2 months). I'd highly recommend for teachers!!

This may be the best thing I've ever bought my husband for our kids games. The batteries have lasted well, and we used it a lot!
