This thing is awesome. I have used it twice now. The last time, I used it in freezing weather and it actually stayed a bit warmer in there. Condensation does build up even with the vent open. If you have a good sleep system i don't see why this wouldn't be a 4 season shelter; as long as you aren't in some kind of a storm.
I used a S.O.L. emergency blanket as a footprint, but I was solo camping. If I had two people I think I would do 2 small blankets to leave room for the trekking poles.
If you're going for minimal, lightweight and are not a rich man then tbis is the way to go.

Very nice tent. I like the size to weight ratio. some of the stitching is a little loose at the attachment points, but not bad (nothing a little seam sealer couldn't fix). No leaks and seems to handle wind very well.

Very nice shelter. Used for a 5 day trip in autumn and rode out a pretty nasty thunderstorm including hail one night. Stayed dry inside, nice footprint, plenty of room for myself and one other plus packs and boots.
I don't carry or use trekking poles so just throw it up and guy the top parts out to a ridgeline I bring for the purpose (35' of mule tape is usually plenty where I camp, and is very lightweight). Overall if you're okay with sleeping on the ground and no bug netting, this is a very nice shelter and I'd recommend it. Easy to pitch, sturdy, lightweight and fairly compact. It's a step up from the 10x10 tarp I used to use, and the zipper door gives it a bit more weather and rain resistance than an open tarp has.
If you don't have or use trekking poles, it can definitely be pitched with a ridge line, or you can cut sticks to length as indicated on the size markings on the side of the tarp. Personally I like it better with a ridge line since you don't have the poles inside the tent. Much more open feel and still plenty sturdy.
I took about half the stakes out of the bag, and added the ridge line for a slight weight savings over the listed weight.

This tent is a great setup for one or two people. Using it for hunting so it's used in all kinds of weather. I haven't had any issues at all. Comfortable with two guys and all our gear. I would recommend it
