I was unsure of this when I unwrapped it, but have fallen in love with it. Genuine leather, quality materials, including the note pad. The opening for a writing tool is narrow, so if you're trying to fit a fountain pen- not gonna happen. You would need to use the clip of the top in order to attach it. I can see myself utilizing this for years to come.

The pockets are the perfect sizes -- the larger for a Surface Pro 3/4 and the smaller for keeping your most recent notes (if you're not taking notes on computers, which personally I'm not). It also holds my chequebook in a nicer way than I'd originally expected (I'm moving from another, much more basic style of portfolio). The materials are a big jump in quality (my old portfolio had the layout of an "interview" portfolio and was made of that bonded leather) but the layout is a change... one that was welcome after I personally adapted.

I bought this for work to look more professional. I deal with paperwork on a daily basis and this thing helps. Some of my coworkers have metal or plastic folders that look cheap and can barely hold anything. This comes with two inside pockets and two card holders. Also a place to keep your pen along with a notepad, which comes in handy. It zips up and the leather feels great. It shows no indication that I have ever spilled food or coffee on it. I get compliments on this from customers all the time.

Zipper works great and the leather looks nice. It does the job very well. Only complaint is that the inside pocket is a little too loose and the sides can sometimes bulge and get in the zipper's way. If you only place a few papers in the inside pocket that wouldn't be an issue. Overall, I would recommend this product. It definitely appears and feels professional and does not look cheap.
