I've been making sausage since 2009 and used whatever salted casings I could find, usually from a local sporting good store. I started using these casings in 2020. They don't stink like salted casing. They are way easier to use. Elasticity is excellent. If there is a hole or two, they have been 1-2 inches from the very end which are very easy to deal with. I'm making roughly 147 pounds of sausage this year, the price of these casings is worth it due to the time savings and no headaches.
