I love this drawing board

I love this drawing board. It rests easily on my lap or table, has five adjustment angles and wide enough for most of my drawing media. Well worth the price paid.

It was not necessary to waste money on this it feels no different than writing on your regular desk and it has messed me up before from the bumps! do not buy this product if you have a desk!!!!

The options for angle are very limited and there is nothing between flat and 40 degrees elevation. I like drawing anywhere from 20 to 30 degrees and this is not available. However, I did find that by putting various sized small boxes in front of the back rail these options could be attained. Better design would have been recommended. The surface is fairly flat but is quite grained so if you are just learning draw and using copy paper or other inexpensive thin media with HB or harder pencils, the surface of this board is not for you.... your lines will "jump". ...but of course there is a work around. I purchased and Alvin cutting mat 18 by twelve and it is working out just fine, but again, better quality drawing surface would have been nice. Also for those who like a shallow angle for drawing, the lip at the bottom is quite high (over 3/4 inch), a lot more than needed for pencils, etc and could be bothersome.
