Really keeps the cold air out.

So far this has been awesome. We have a back part of our home that is not insulated and we have a doorway from that area in with no door. We attach this and it has definitely kept the cold out of the rest of the house. The only thing we found was the tape doesn't stick very well and we did have to use the push pins. In an older house the wood is hard and we needed to use a hammer to get some of those push pins in, the heads are made of plastic so a couple of them broke even though we were trying to be very gentle with it. Other than getting a better push pin in there we are extremely happy with this purchase.

There was an issue with two of the magnets not being magnetized but the seller quickly handled the issue. I was able to get magnets in there that worked, so we got this put up and it's amazing the difference it makes as far as keeping out the cold air. My husband was very skeptical about this purchase but now says "this is the best thing ever."

I bought this so our puppy could go out as needed. Unfortunately she was out and the door was closed and she tore up one section trying to get in. I'm going to buy a replacement because it serves my purpose.
Is it pretty? Not really but it isn't ugly either.
Does it keep the cold out? Not like a door, but as it gets colder it will help insulate the door with another layer.
If you are looking for something that is easy to pass thru and you can keep your door open, this will work. If you want insulation or a pretty door, you won't get it for this price.

It works great. I live with my Grandma who likes the house to be 80 degree plus and I like 72 or under so with this I can keep my room nice and cold by opening up the window now that it's fall and my Grandma can have her tropics in the rest of the house. I might try to convince her to get one so the house can be in the middle.
