They were advertised as extra-wide, but they were not. Only our children could fit in them. We are normal size (6'1", 200lb male; 5'8" 150 femail) and we had no chance of fitting in them. The chairs looked great, and appeared to be very well constructed. We just couldn't fit in them and returned them.

This is the 1st review I've ever done and sadly it's a bad one. I purchased this item on July 19. It came promptly and was packaged nicely. Today, August 12 was the first opportunity I had to use it. I went to the beach with my family. I set up the chair. I sat in the chair. I tried to make an adjustment to the chair and it broke.
It broke literally 10 minutes into using it for the first time. This was not a cheap chair. Or rather I should say this chair was expensive but it is obviously cheap. I had this chair from another maker and it lasted me 3 years and many many trips to beach and it only cost me $25.00. This only lasted 10 minutes and cost me twice as much.

Find a different chair! I was so excited when I got this, not realizing that it was a different brand than what my fellow softball parents have. Well after using it at maybe 4 different tournaments, it's broke. The thing is, it was broke from the first use and I just didn't realize it. There was always something about the back that bothered me - digging. I finally opened it up and realized that the supports bars came unwelded from one another. And of course, it's too late to exchange it! FIND A DIFFERENT CHAIR!

The chair broke with only a few days usage. A weld in the steel frame broke and the chair is unusable. Amazon says the return period has ended, but I hope either Amazon or the vendor will take note and process a refund.
UPDATE: I contacted the vendor and received a replacement chair as soon as I sent them a picture of the damage. I'm hoping the first break was an unlucky weld and this one will be sturdier.

My butt was hurting from hours of bleacher lounging at my kid's ball games. I wish it was ten or fifteen bucks cheaper but I never regretted buying it. What completely sells it is the strap that goes under the bleacher seat that anchors the seat to the bench. It is a strong strap and won't rip so long as you're not Andre the Giant. And if you are, just lay it out flat 'cuz this thing laid out will definitely cover large bums. I highly recommend this to anyone who has piles and a constant supply of hydro cortisone cream (10%, external anal itch).
