Small "footprint" (it's on the back of my tank) and super lightweight! The air pump that came with my tank vibrated a lot and was noisy, so I was looking for something that I could replace it with. This Air Pump is much quieter, doesn't vibrate or rattle, and attaches right to the back of the tank with the included suction cup.

Nice and quiet pump (unlike the Tetra so-called whisper pump which buzzed loudly and constantly,) which puts out a decent amount of air, particularly given the small size of the unit. I only wish the suction cup worked better; I find it doesn't hold very well. Other than that, this is a great air pump.

Purchased these to replace the loud air pumps in my Biorb tanks. The original air pump that came with the Biorb was so noisy. It was driving me crazy. I decided to take a chance on this product - and bought it. When it arrived, I was surprised by how compact the pump is. It practically disappears onto the side of the tank/furniture. It's easy to set up and works beautifully from the minute it's plugged in. You can barely hear it running - even when being within a fairly close proximity. My only concern, at this point, will be whether or not the unit continues to be quiet - as I've already noticed the humming more. Overall, excellent product and I'd recommend it to friends.

Update: receive a replacement which has been working great. The new replacement does a great job, generate lots of bubbles and it is very quiet. However, cons are the cord is a bit too short which I need an extended cord to connect it with my smart plug inside my cabinet and it should only be used with regulator air stone not atomic.

This is a great little air pump. I replaced a much larger and MUCH noisier with this little guy. It seems to be performing every bit as well, if not better (i.e., stronger air flow), than my larger pump and it is extremely quiet. Even when the room is quiet, the sound is imperceptible. I have only had it running for a few weeks, but so far it is great. At this point, I would definitely buy this item again if I need another air pump.
