I've been sewing for about 59 years & I've used all kinds of big "brand name" patterns, that years ago use to be great! Now they seem to be flimsy & hardly last through one use! Plus they come w/ridiculous prices!
This Stylearc pattern is one of the better patterns I've used! It's great! It's printed on very sturdy paper & looks as if it will last through a whole lot of uses! This is an extremely easy pattern that can be used in many ways! It's so easy you can make reversible tops! It's very easy to alter! I am long waisted & need tops in longer lengths! If I can I usually buy patterns for tall people! This pattern is a 28 & 1/2 inches at the finished length. I need a 32 inch length & it's very easy to alter but you need to cut the pattern in the center so as not to spoil the rounded hem! This is very easy to do! I'm very happy with this pattern & I know I will be buying more of this brand! It's a good sturdy pattern & I'm getting tired of buying patterns that I have to trace on heavier paper in order not to tear the patterns! I trace the patterns & then put them away! I'm over that mess! Thank you Stylearc for your quality patterns! I only have one small complaint...the center of the pattern looks as if something were cut on top of the pattern maybe in the making of it or it may have been cut on opening the packing they came in but on mine there are several deep creases & a 3 sided flap-like tear in the middle of the front piece of the top. Its not a problem & could have even happened in the shopping! I just put some tape over it & it's fine! I put tape on it where I adjusted the length so it's not a problem! I think either the mail or the packaging department need to be a little more careful so as not to damage the patterns! I will use this pattern a lot! It's a perfect every day or dressy pattern & can easily be made for cooler weather as well!

I like this style...so simple and easy to adjust the pattern. Several tops can be made from this pattern and all can be different so that no one knows it was made from the same pattern. I am an experienced seamstress, but it is simple enough for the beginner if they know how to follow directions.
