This is the perfect solution for watering my small front and back yards without having to remember to turn off the water. I purchased one and was instantly delighted, so bought a second one so I wouldn't have to transfer it back and forth. I've been using both regularly for a couple months now without any problems. When I left for work this morning, I set the timer and left. Yes, you have to be home to move the sprinkler and start again. But this mechanical device is rugged and reliable and you don't need a degree in engineering to program it. No batteries, no cables, no confusion. I now have a splitter below the back yard InstaPark with a soaker going to the trees and a regular hose for everything else. I use the one timer and just switch between the two outlets. Very pleased with this device!

I bought these years ago and had issues with them actually shutting off even with good water pressure. Since this is s great solution for watering when you need it rather than setting up a recurring timer, I figured I would give the newer version a try. Fooled twice. Worked ok for the end of one season with some slight leakage, but when set up this spring they leaked excessively from the timer. Very disappoint with what should be a simple product from a great company.

The water flow, using the MWT-08 water regulator, was greatly restricted. The flow was reduced by at least 50%. I found the product to be unusable.
I did not return the product because the shipping cost was more than the cost of the regulator. The manufacturer should be more honest about the quality of the product.

Packaging was nice, one box with two timers in separate boxes. Believe also came with instructions of some sort. These come with an adapter to take it from some inch size to the 3/4 garden hose, seems well built but that allows another gasket to have problems and since it's not a common size getting it may require more effort if lost or damaged. But that also allows other uses with the big connection.
The timer seems rugged and although made a cracking noise when turned the first time it doesn't leak and turns off the water after the designated time. I would say good value and worth a try. Since I only needed one it also allowed me to gift the other one.

This device works well. I kept leaving the hose on all day (and sometimes all night) thinking I would remember to shut the water off after 5 or 10 minutes. After the second time the neighbor had to knock on my door to let me know I was flooding to the street, I decided it was time for action. Now I can set the timer and it shuts the hose off for me so I can water the small area that needs to be watered without worry.
