Use when staining fences and decks for customers. Most finishes specify moisture content maximums, and most PT lumber is too wet immediately after construction.

It works well for my purpose, which is nothing to do with woodworking.
I am using it in my darkroom to tell me when handmade materials are dry enough to use.
Its readings thus far have been very consistent and reliable. I have nothing to compare them to, so I am trusting in their accuracy.
However, I was employed as a cabinet maker, so from that point of view the only complaint I have, and it is probably a minor one, is that the instructions regarding "wood type" are quite schematic and therefore cryptic.
