Nice formula but color inaccurate

Just wanted to post this for anyone considering the Lilac Matte color. The picture made me think it was more of a dusty cool pink color, but the name was more accurate - it's really more of a very pale purple. On my eye it comes across as basically white/grey. I really like the formula - creamy, dries down and lasts all day - but the color just didn't work for me. Of course makeup looks so different on different people and it's so hard to figure out makeup colors from product photos, so I appreciate that Amazon/Julep allowed a return for this.

It works! Almost too well... Be sure to have oil based makeup remover (I used coconut oil + makeup wipes).
Bought this onyx pencil to pair with Wolfe face paints for my Halloween skull makeup. Took a bit of trial & error to figure out blending (the sponge end is basically just an eraser) & it's a bit of a mess to clean up afterward, but once it sets it does NOT budge! As a fire performer, I usually sweat off most makeup, but this was hardly even smudged hours later. Definitely interested in trying other colors in the future.

A lot cheaper than Bobbie Brown and they seem almost identical. I usually put the color on my fingertip and then apply but you could draw it on directly. Obviously these are made to stay malleable while at room temperature but after they are on your skin for awhile they become pretty impermeable. They really do seem waterproof and just stay in place. I use coconut oil to remove it.
The green seems dark green in the tube but when I apply it, it doesn't look that green. But I always like to mix at least 2 colors so the color is kind of indefinable. If you apply the green heavily, it looks like a blue green to me.
I recommend these. I own about 5 of them so far. I really prefer this type of shadow over powder as there is no fallout.

I have this eyeshadow in several colors. I love it for the ease of application. I don't have time or patience for make up application nonsense so this is perfect for me. Bronze shimmer is my go to color. Just ordered the khaki green wanting a green shade. Unfortunately it is not in the least bit green but more of a light gold when applied.

Thinking I love this eye shadow crayon. Have tried others, and they're so dry, and difficult to blend on eyelid. First purchase, and donwish had ordered darker shade of brown, but one I bought in ginger is great for daytime.
Hoping to order several more. Will make sure this product lasts as they say, and that I will be satisfied with it in the long term. It is not cheap, but is so much better than the cheap ones. Old saying is usually true - get what you pay for. Will be watching for possible sales. Also, came very quickly. Bottom line, even though early, I think will be a favorite product.
