My old kitty love it.

You could almost see the relief and joy in her face when she realized she could get up on the sofa and the bed again without help. It made a 20 year old cat a happy feline.
Good for small, needy dogs who must be in bed with you

We have a small dog that is mix between a rat terrier and a chihuahua. She used to sit at the side of my bed and just whine to be picked up until someone picked her up and put her in the bed. Tired of the interruption to journaling, reading, etc., I decided to give these stairs a try. They are lightweight and don't take up much space. They are sized perfectly for our small dog, and she got used to using them very quickly. My only small gripe is that because they are plastic and don't have rubber feet, they can sometimes slide away from the bed when the dog jumps up off the top step, so if you have smooth floors like we do, you may want to consider a small rug or floor mat to help keep the steps from slipping. Would love it if the manufacturer would add rubber feet or something to minimize the sliding. Other than that, these did exactly what I wanted which was help my dog get up on the bed herself without being annoying about it.
Simple, Safe, Lightweight, Reliable but For Smaller Animals

The PETMAKER 14.5" nonslip foldable pet steps is a good reliable product that is easy to assemble (since the only part you need to do yourself is the stick-on nonskid surfaces for the steps). It is simple, safe, lightweight, foldable but it's not for larger dogs. Based on the pictures on Amazon, I thought it would be high enough for our "captain's bed" (drawers under mattress frame) but I should have measured more carefully. There's still an 18 inch climb from the top step to the top of the mattress. We purchased it for our mixed pit bull/hound puppy but the unit was shorter than what I needed. Not their fault! My puppy never the less, mastered the climb in no time but never uses it to go down. Like my slightly larger, older dog (also some form of pit mix), she prefers to jump. So my puppy (now not so little) uses these stairs multiple times a day, everyday. She had no problem learning to use the steps at all. So no complaints here! However, she is gaining weight quick (she's going to be a tall hound) and sometimes if she does not line up for the climb just right she can cause the steps to tip (though NOT all the way over). She's rambunctious to the max! This is a great product but for lower bed heights and for smaller, lighter weight dogs. The price point was relatively low in comparison to some of the adjustable ramps that are 3-4 times more expensive (though for obvious reasons: wood is more expensive than plastic and requires more craftsmanship). Overall we are happy with the product but our pup is growing out of it fast. We have friends we will pass it on to!

Lightweight but durable. I added a weight to keep it from sliding.
Small height

They do their purpose I just didn't pay attention to the height id like it to be level with the bed or close to it
