This is a super doorbell. I use it indoors in an apartment building. The signal to the bell carries well, and the tone volume can be easily adjusted. I like it a lot. The only minor criticism I have is of the 'Melodies.' Personally, I prefer simple or humorous tones, rather than hokey tunes. Suite yourself. The first one we got did not work after the first day. There was a little crack on the back of the doorbell part when we got it, but we installed it anyways thinking it'd be okay. The first day it worked the first few times we tested it, but then became very sporadic. Tried to have my husband and dad see if they could fix it, but no luck. Amazon was great about letting us return it and shipping us a new one. I believe I bought this on prime day, so got a great price, but I would pay the normal price for it as well. It has many different 'rings' so not just a boring beep, ding, or chime, like most door bells. Also love it because we have a dog who would bark and bark and bark at the sound of our old, normal doorbell. He hasn't barked at this one once, and we have had it since the end of July (about 4 months now). We have had it on the little mermaid under the sea since we got it, and everyone that rings it has been really impressed! There is at least one Christmas song, so we will probably change it up soon! The only con I see with it is whenever the power goes out, the doorbell chimes once the power goes back on. Being woke up by the Little mermaid song at 3am in the middle of a storm freaks me out every time!

Works great! I had two options, install a wired doorbell...not my favorite option. OR I could get a wireless doorbell system. I chose a wireless system with one button and two receivers (bells, dinggers, whatever you want to call them). I also really enjoy how loud they are, without sounding distorted. The option of tons of tones to pick from is great as well. I really wish they had a USB port on them so that I could program them to a custom tone, but hey these were cost effective and I was able to find a few tones that I enjoy. I have it installed at the front door which is under an overhang so it doesn't need to be super heavy duty, but it is working well so far. I will report back if they don't survive the winter cold, or otherwise have any issues. I would recommend to anyone looking to replace an old school wired setup or put in a new system without running wires.

This doorbell works great! It's pretty straightforward to set up. Plug the receivers in and adjust the sound, tune or chime on the side. Pop open the battery cover on the transmitter, remove the thin battery cover and press the doorbell button. It can be mounted if you desire.
I got these for my kids. We have a large house and it's convenient for me to wake them up or alert them if needed by pressing the doorbell button. It is great that it has 2 receivers.
