While not "killer Thai hot" (which is something I usually go for, in Thai food), Amy's Organic Thai Coconut was fully satisfying on a cold February afternoon. Chock full of tasty veggies and spices, with a creamy broth that did not seem greasy at all (which other reviewers encountered...), its coconut theme was not over-powering, but delighted my palate. Even the tofu was firm, flavorful and added a rich chewiness to the soup. All of this out of a single can is something to celebrate. HOWEVER, what I hadn't noticed (until the bill arrived) was the cost of shipping. This single can of soup ended up costing what an entire Thai luncheon at a good restaurant would have cost. Sigh. My bad. Choose your vendor carefully ! (I still recommend the soup.)

We don't usually like canned soup, but this is one my grandson will eat. It is expensive for the amount of food you get, but I keep a few cans on hand for those times I don't have time or ingredients to make homemade soup.
