Overall this jacket fits well. Two drawbacks, first thing is that the pocket openings are small. I have to push my hand through the opening. An second the sleeves are right on the money. They should have at least a half inch to an inch extra in length, ya know for reaching. Chest pocket is great. On the inside u can use the pocket cut out for extra room. 6'1" 200lbs. order the large.

I purchased for a weekend hiking trip this fall. I typically layer when outdoors and this worked perfectly. It's light but both days were cool (upper 40's) breezy with a light mist most of the day. It kept me dry and the wind off of me. In a downpour you would get soaked, it's not a rain coat.. very happy with purchase.

I just came home on my motorcycle and got caught in the rain with this jacket on and riding jeans, and I felt this soak through before my riding jeans, which is not very waterproof at all. Otherwise it's good, pretty soft and pliable, does pack into its own pocket (although you can't zip it closed) and it is windproof. As long as you're aware it offers the same protection from water and snow as a denim jacket and you're ok with that, I'd recommend this. At some point I'm probably going to look for a more waterproof jacket as I think a windbreaker should be at least a little better than denim, but this is good when no rain is in the forecast.

I wanted to take a star off, but they don't mention it being waterproof or even resistant anywhere in the listing, if they did, I'd def be taking one or two off but I can't fault the jacket for something it's not advertised to do.
