Great boot!

I love these so far! I have worn them in the snow twice (full-out playing in the snow and building snowmen with kids) and have been out in the rain with them several times already. Comfortable, dry and warm! Before buying on here I went to a physical store to try them on since sizing seems to be a huge issue with Sorel. I am a 6.5, and 6.5s fit perfect even with thick socks. However they do squeeze your toes together a bit, so I tried on a 7. A bit roomier but no toe squeeze and still really comfortable. Honestly I was torn between what size to get because both fit, but felt different and were both comfortable. I decided to go with the 7, and I feel like that was the right choice for me. I find that when it's cold, a little more wiggle room in the toe area is good for keeping that circulation going and keeping your feet warmer.
Cute, but traction is not great

Let me start with the positives: 1) this shoe is so cute and easy to slip on with everything and I feel slightly more put together when walking my child to school. 2) the sole is removable, allowing you to use your orthotic. 3) as long as I wear thick socks my toes feel fairly warm; I took the advice of many reviewers and bought a 1/2 size up from my normal sneaker/boot size. 4) my feet are always dry.
The negatives: 1) the traction is about a B or B- on wet pavement, which is where I'm doing most of my walking. It is great on any dirt or mud, but if I'm walking on wet pavement I might slip a bit walking downhill or even slip backwards when walking uphill. It's not terrible, but I have to be mindful so I don't fall - especially when pushing a stroller down a steep hill. 2) they're moderately comfortable but not amazing; they seem more designed to look cute than to be able to walk miles in them.
Overall, I like them but when they wear out I plan on finding something with better traction that is still cute but slightly more comfortable.

Size up

Cuter then the picture, and I already thought they where a more attractive snow boot. I did order a size up after reading reviews, I'm glad I did, defiantly do so. Also I think they are great quality, people have said the strap breaks easily or the heal doesn't hold up, but in my opinion these are not heavy duty work boots they are winter boots and partly fashionable so if you aren't taking them on and off by pulling on the strap and using your foot to pull off of your shoes and take care of them, then they do the job. If you want a tough boot then by a rubber boot. If you want a warm but still attractive boot these are a good option, I have tons of boots. Bogs, fry, free bird, sorrells, kodiak,..etc. and live in MI winters. Take care of your boots and they will take care of you! Over all these are great, I love them.
Very cute and comfortable boots (but size up)

These boots are so good looking and surprisingly lightweight. Wore them for a 2.5 mile hike to work in heavy snow and they were very comfortable, waterproof and warm. They are the cutest snow boots I own and the grey color (which I love) goes with everything. As recommended by other reviewers, I sized up from my usual size 6 to 6.5 and they fit perfectly, with a little room for thicker socks. The quality is great and I love the 1.5 inch heal because I'm short. Highly recommend!

Love these boots. They are perfect winter boots. I'd been looking for a pair of duck boots and these were recommended to me by a friend. They're the best purchase I made all winter. Now I've been recommending them to everyone. Super comfortable to wear all day and walk around in, plus they're cute boots. Keep your feet dry and warm. I went a half size up to accommodate thick socks and they fit great when I'm wearing thick socks, but if I wear regular socks with them they are pretty loose on me. I wear an 8.5 and bought a 9. I was hoping they'd be able to double as spring rain boots but I think they'll be too warm for spring weather.
