I should have bought one of these a long time ago , been using a old style bevel and plastic protractor you use in highschool , its accurate for the work I am doing ( exhaust on cars) and some other items as well , the clamp holds tight . works in both directions and easy to zero and get secondary angles .

Arrived today. Tested against several squares i have. All measured about 0.1 degree difference, one 0.2. Did a check against a new Dewalt Compound Miter saw just out of the box. it was supposedly set at factory. Results were EXACTLY as stated in saws directions. So is this a review of the saw or the angle finder. My squares tend to get dropped, tossed in a tray etc, not the best precision tool handling protocol. So I would say This is a great deal. Let's see how long it lasts, thats the next test. until then happy happy

I will tell you the strangest use for this (I hope)
I have a leg that does not straighten out all the way due to a tight hamstring.
Every hour I exercise the leg and then will put it under my bent leg to see if I am making any progress.

This tool is super accurate, down to the decimal. I bought this to help me do miter cuts when I do our chair rails and crown molding. It's amazing how many of our corners are not even close to 90 degrees. This tool is a life-saver. It helps me get that perfect angle cut each time!

I have to say, I was skeptical, but I really am impressed. I zeroed it out on a surface plate and checked it against my Starrett combination square head and it was dead nuts at 45 and 90 degrees. I opened it completely and checked it against the flatness of the surface plate and it was dead on 180. Will update if anything changes.
