I feel strongly enough about this product to make it my first Amazon review. I was looking for a rosin core solder that is 63% tin and 37% lead, which is a eutectic composition, meaning that its melting and freezing points are identical (no appreciable plastic phase). That should allow it to solidify instantly once it reaches that temperature as it's cooling, insuring that you don't accidentally wiggle the connection in the plastic phase and weaken the connection. Unfortunately, I can't trust this stuff, because I'm not confident I got the composition I wanted. I got the 3-pack. None of the tubes are labeled (just like in the photos). However, I expected at least some labeling somewhere. They come in a plastic pouch which is also incompletely labeled. All it says is "ICESPRING Solder Wire (Large 3 Pack) NEW MADE IN CHINA X001FYF0PB" and a bar code. For all I know, this is the cheap non eutectic 60% tin and 40% lead that is the most commonly found electrical solder sold in hardware stores. Also, it's suspicious that the ASIN number listed on Amazon is "B072K22JRT." Is that what should be printed on the package rather than "X001FYF0PB?" Who knows?

Seems like it melts at a lower temperature than most which I both like and hate. I like that it takes less heat and that means a lower chance of front electronics but it also takes like 2 seconds to turn back to a solid so you have to hold what you're soldering for a while in the position you want it, which isn't always easy

Perfect more premium solder that melted amazingly and helped make me look better at soldering than I really was :) hahaha
Recommend the bundle purchase with "tip tinner" you will thank me later.

Good quality. Melts and flows easily. I like the larger tube as my ham-hands struggle with the teeny ones.
