Our tub stopper was 10 years old and we needed a new one. Problem #1, our tub was 10 years old and the store we bought it from didn't sell them anymore. I needed to replace a tub stopper that malfunction in my bathtub. I didn't want drive to the "box store" to buy that same product so I hunted for a different tub stopper product online.
This product has brass fitting that screws into the tub drain fixture, and then the stopper screws into that. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes; it may take even less if I had read the instructions.

This drain works great. Instructions were easy and I quickly replaced my non-working drain with this one. While the hair catcher is a great idea, it fills fast (3 girls) and you have to take the drain apart a bit to empty.
