This light is amazing. First the slightly negative, there is absolutely zero instructions in the box, so you need to think it through just a tiny bit. Second, it's a shade of pink, not red. Who cares! Now the positive. I charged the battery pack overnight and the indicator light on the wall wart went from red to green showing a full charge by morning. I mounted the light on my bike using a bracket extension because I ride with two cell phones and a GoPro so the bar itself was stuffed. The light mounted perfectly on the extension and is tight and snug with the band type clasp it came with. I was able to adjust the center of focus up and down slightly while riding to get it aimed to my liking. I strapped the battery pack on the head tube since I ride a tall bike and that worked great. No jiggling, no fear of it coming loose. It's a robust hook and loop strap. I will place a small amount of padding between the battery pack and the frame tube just to make it slightly more formfitting. I went riding on the night of the dark of the moon, on rural dirt roads with no additional illumination and this light was wonderful. Even on the low setting I could see adequately to ride not worrying about ruts, rocks and road debris. The mid level choice was better and the high level choice was like, holy cow! I could see the ants crossing the road. Remember, this is on dirt, dark of the moon, closest street light is about 7 miles away. Wonderful and since the middle setting is so good the battery should be adequate for a three or four hour night ride, or two or three shorter nights between charging. The tail-light is a cute little strap on gimme. Don't forget to open it up and take the paper disks out which preserve the battery during shipping and storage. It's a bright little blinky guy too and frankly you can't have too many of these guys on your back end when riding by night. This one is actually able to strap low on the rear fork giving you an additional chance at being seen. I can't measure lumens, but this headlight is wonderfully bright, I'm thinking of ways to mount it for taking walks too.

I needed a brighter light for my Ragnar race because I knew from past Ragnar's that it gets pitch black dark running through the back roads and woods at night.

I browsed and researched different lights and decided on this because of the fact that it is rechargeable. I was tired of buying batteries for my other headlamp.

This has 4 different light settings and each one is SUPER BRIGHT! Make sure you are not looking directly at anyone while this light is on, so that you are not hurting their eyes. The true test of it's brightness was during one of my legs of Ragnar where I was running in the woods with hardly anyone around. I have never been so thankful to have a headlamp in my life! It was so dark but I could see clearly and even in the distance with having this only on the first setting. This light is so bright, that it actually looked like car lights on the road. All I kept thinking was that I would have never made it through the woods if I had worn my other headlamp. Other runners noticed and asked where I purchased my headlamp. This also has a little red light on the back so that others can see you if they are behind you.

Because of the rechargeable battery pack, located on the back of the headlamp, it is a little heavy, but not uncomfortably so. My only complaint is that it is a little snug on the head. I actually have a small head and it was snug on me. It can be adjusted, but I do believe that I have adjusted it as far as it can be adjusted, but it is still snug. I will have to take another look to be sure though, because I'm sure that men use this as well and I just can't see how it would fit a mans head without it being uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend!

I wasn't sure about these lights. I ordered 2 and took them camping they were bright and they worked great. A lot of people asked me about these headlamps and they will be ordering them. You won't regret it great purchase.

I am soooo disappointed. When the light arrived, I could tell I would have problems. The box was opened and there were no directions except what was on the box. It worked okay right out of the box, but when I tried to charge the darn thing the light came on and would not go off. It stays on the entire time now and won't turn off at all unless I take the batteries out. If there is something I'm doing wrong, please someone tell me. VERY DISAPPOINTED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE.....

The light is very bright and worked well. The third use the main light went out. Had to resolder the positive wire for the light. Also sharp edges on the ring around main lamp. Other than that light is great. Perfect for the money.
