Works with a Temperpedic mattress
Russell Stoewe✓ Verified Purchase•June 1, 2018
Our challenge was to find a bed skirt that would hide the items stored under the bed. A normal bed skirt would not work because we had just bought a Temperpedic mattress. This wrap around allowed us to attach to the sides of the mattress and still make use of the head and food elevation capabilities of the mattress. It is not a perfect solution by any stretch of the imagination but has met our needs. You will have to also use twist pins in order to hold the skirt in place. These, too are available at Amazon although we bough ours in the sewing department of Wal-Mart. If you are ordering the skirt, order the pins. We used 8 but a few more would not hurt. I suspect that, even for a regular mattress and box springs, the pins would be necessary. (Frankly, for a regular mattress and box springs I would buy a conventional skirt.)
The length worked well for our mattress.

Great Buy, Great Color

It has taken me several tries to get a color that I feel satisfied with. I am going to iron it, but I wanted to go ahead and review. I feel like it was a great buy for the money. I don't like the way most bedskirts don't have a slit for the footboard because that is always awkward. But I am still very happy with this purchase. If it looks remarkably better after I iron it, I will update the pictures. Honestly, it is so very wrinkled it almost looks like it is supposed to be crinkle material.
Update: Ironed it. Wow. I raised a star for five because for the price, I am amazed at how much I love this color. For the people who complained about it being wrinkled, just iron it. It did not take me long, and as you can see by the updated pictures, it make a huge difference. I had every intention of doing so, but wanted to make sure I liked the color before I did; otherwise, I would have sent it back. I can't vouch for the other colors, but this one is great. Love it.

Not practical for daily use bed.

The photo shows that you should wrap the ruffle around the outer edge of the boxspring (with both elastic bands wrapping the side, however, I didn't like how this looked when the comforter was pulled back because it exposed the top of the boxspring making the ruffle look disjointed or un-properly fitted (unlike the netted-type of ruffle where the skirt disappears between the mattress and boxspring giving it a cohesive appearance), so I made an adjustment and hooked the top band where it laid between the mattress and box (hugging the corner of the boxspring so when the mattress was down the ruffle tucked in under the mattress...unfortunately, when doing that, the bands don't stay in place causing the corners to pop up any time I sat or lay down. I had to safety-pin them to the boxspring fabric to get them to stay. I gave it 3 stars because I would use this bed skirt on a guest-bed with infrequent use, but never again on my own.
Perect solution for difficult to put on bedskirts

I have now purchased three of these bedskirts. The first one, I accidentally bought the wrong color - must've hit the arrow button and didn't notice until the product arrived in the mail. The Red is very bright scarlet color. I wanted the burgundy. Contacted the seller and they responded immediately that I could send it back, they would give me a refund, and I could get the right color. Needless to say, I did exactly that, then bought a Navy one, and Taupe for another bedroom. These are so easy to install, you don't even need to lift the mattress. They are sized queen/King - not full/queen - why don't all bedding manufacturers size quilts and bedspreads that way? The full/queen is always too small, these people seemed to have solved the problem! The queen/king fits my queen sized mattresses perfectly with room to spare. I got the longer 17 inch length, because I have the new thicker bed. If it's too long you can just tuck it in between the mattress and box spring. Perfect solution.
Who the genius is who invented this?!

Putting on bedskirts is awful, actually it's usually more like fighting with bedskirts. I'm not sure about the issues that others seemed to have with this item, but I had no problems. The elastic band sort of just grabs to the area between the box spring and mattress. You can adjust it if you need to, but the length was perfect on our bed. We got the burgundy color which is actually sort of a muted burgundy and worked perfect with our comforter. However, it was super wrinkled and did take some effort by putting it in the dryer with a wet towel. It's still wrinkled (I am too lazy to iron), but I put it on the bed anyway and it sort of has a casual, shabby chic look to it. I also ordered the same one in beige and it is due to arrive tomorrow. It is not see through, at least not on our bed.
