Works like magic! I have tried several methods to get rid of my chronic stye in both eyes and this is the easiest and the quickest way to suppress the swelling. I do it once a day and about 5 times a week to keep the stye in check. If I don't do it for an extended period of 4-5 days, the flare ups start again but then the swelling goes down within a couple of days of use.
Just like others have mentioned, the patch is really comfortable so I set a timer of about 10 minutes just in case :)

As someone that suffers from mild blepharitis, I have to say this product is actually helpful, not a cure, but better than any Rx I've used. For years I have had trouble with my eyes drying out during sleep. I tried normal sleep masks, restasis, ointments and pazeo medications. Restasis made things worse (I'm certain), pazeo works somewhat.
I bought this mask at the recommendation of my eye doctor, I figured why not after trying everything else. Much to my surprise I have had little trouble since, it's not perfect but so far better than anything else I have tried. I microwave it for 15-20 seconds max, 20 gets hot so give it a minute before using. I also discovered that sleeping with it on all night is not the best and sometimes caused problems. Instead I simply wear it until it cools off then take it off, then go to sleep. You can really feel the difference when you first remove the mask, for me my eyes feel great.
My only gripe with the mask is the strap, I have no idea why sleep mask manufacturers design masks so the half inch velcro strap sits right on the back of your head. The position and size of the velcro can be less than comfortable, not terrible, but can be better with a wider strap or placing the velcro on the side.

Great eye mask for Dry Eye

I've recently been diagnosed with mild to moderate dry eye. Along with the prescription Xiidra my eye doctor recommended a moist heated eye mask twice a day. Together this treatment has tremendously improved the dry eye symptoms. I put the eye mask in the microwave for 20-25 seconds and then leave it on for 10 minutes 2x a day. The eye mask helps to keep my tear ducts open to release natural tears to keep my eyes moistened. The eye mask is a great product so far. I've used it for 2 weeks now.

My Ophthalmologist prescribed it for me to use 10 minutes daily. I use it right before sleep and find it calming. I have severe dry eyes, and this is part of a protocol he is using to solve the lesions that have formed on my eyes. This one is my second one, because the guidelines for washing it are: wait 2 hours for it to cool down. Then wash with mild soap. Then wait at lease 24 hours before using. The math doesn't work for having only one compress. So I switch them weekly.

A wonderful product for those of us with severe dry eyes. Very convenient and effective way to do hot compresses. Here's a tip: instead of scrubbing with baby shampoo after (which i found to be awful, time consuming and a hassle) I just massage the lower lid margin with my pinky to release the oil from the glands. Works really well and easy peasy.
