I am giving 3 stars since I realized how handy this little camera was as long as it was working. Day#1: The camera worked just fine in photo and video mode. I took sample pictures and videos, with no problem. This package came with 2 batteries and a charger, which I felt is a good idea. Day#2: I was on my way to vacation with family, so mot much action. Day#3: Sunny day, we were able to take lot of videos. I observed that on a sunny day the display was pretty dark, I had to struggle to see the live screen. Day#4: The Display was so dark that I was hardly able to see it, so I had to go to a dark corner and turn it on and had the video running. One good thing here was I had taken video under water snorkeling. The video was set at HD (1K) so that the memory card could last longer since I had video running all along. At the end of 15-20 minute under water walk, no water leakage observed, the water proof case worked well. Day#5: We were hitting the beach and this day forward the display never came up. When I turn the camera on, the LEDs were blinking as expected but seems that the display has gone bad??? Rest of my trip I really missed the camera, luckily I had my cell phone which came in handy. I returned the camera back to the seller and got fully refunded. I really loved the little camera as long as it worked.

The water proof casing is not reliable. The water leaks through the supposedly sealed buttons. Since the remote stop working I had to manually press the buttons on the camera causing sea water to enter the case and destroying the camera. Let's hope the warranty plan I purchased works. The pictures that did come through looked good, which is the reason for the 2 star vs a 1 star.

This camera is AWESOME! Bought this unit to use on my boat to film cruising, fishing, gatherings, etc. Took it out today and man, this camera really takes a clear picture/video. I have a 64gb card and it'll record quite a bit of footage. I left it on the 4k HD mode and it really put out a crisp video with no distortion or lagging played back on my 60" TV. Really great alternative to the $400 Go Pro cameras out there. Only reason I rated a 4/5 stars in because of the battery. Came with two batteries, but after my 1 1/2 hour boat ride, the battery showed 1/3 bars. I charged it full before use, and was upset to see this. Maybe the batteries need to break in before full potential, but we'll see. Other than that, amazing, great quality camera. Love the wrist strap with the power to start video or take photos.

Let me start by saying Drograce rewards you for writing a review for this camera. (32 GB sd card or a selfie stick mount or something).
TL;DR If you care about the video that you capture, DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA

Cons (All about video quality)
- This is not a 4K camera because it just scales your video frames up to 4k before writing to the SD card. If you intent to shoot in 4k this camera is NOT for you.
- The 1080p 60 fps footage from this camera is NOT usable either. (Jagged edges, blown out exposure etc)
- In low light, the footage from this camera is very grainy and NOT usable.
- At 30 fps, the camera is barely usable at 2.7k or 1080p resolutions and that too with terrible bit rate.
- The mic does a terrible job fighting wind noise and so audio is useless if you mount it on a motorcycle or something. (Reviews testing by running around with the camera mostly misses this aspect of an action camera)
- Terrible dynamic range because the sky is always blown out even when it is clear.
- Streaming to the iPhone app gets stuck

A Go-pro hero 5 is about 8 times as expensive but you begin to understand why that is the case.

Pros
- The included extra battery, dual charger, waterproof case and the accessories are all nice.
- The battery life is decent (1 hour per battery).
- Live view in app works well with little to no lag

Like I said... Everything is great except for the video quality.

Horrible horrible quality to the video. This is not HD not even close. My Samsung 6 phone produces 10 times better sharpness then this thing does at the lowest resolution. I believe all of these reviews are phony. It's a toy I gave it to my six year old.
