I purchased this product after reviewing other competitors. I have no idea if this product is better, same, or even worse than other retail competitors. I prefer USA made products simply because I have experience Chinese products and often am amazed why people purchase them. All that said, this product actually works. It is easy to install, just read the instructions. A work of caution (maybe amusing to some) on the button. When you remove the protective tape on the button battery, the button battery slides out. It does not pop out like most watch buttons, so forth. I thought a wireless product that cost under $29 versus an installed wire chime and transformer for upwards of $200 made sense. And the wireless button should last for 3 years, very easy to replace and cost only pennies on the dollar. If you want to save your marriage, do not use the rooster bell noise.

The wiring to my old hardwired doorbell broke some time ago, and trying to rewire it was futile. I tried battery operated wireless doorbells, but the receivers were not loud enough and eventually the batteries would die unexpectedly, leaving it not working. This product works well and is very easy to install. The receivers are very loud so there is no problem hearing it - especially with two of them. The receivers plug into the wall - no problem with batteries draining. Lots of variety in the 52 chimes, ranging from plain tones to various tunes.

I could never hear my previous ringer located in the living room from the back rooms. Also, the volume was not adjustable. Now I can hear from the front and back rooms thanks to having these two plugs with volume control. There are multiple ring tones and I like the fact that I can change to a festive holiday tune or use the basic ring tones. I recommend.

This is the second doorbell I purchased. I had a different doorbell on my back door and I could never hear it ring if I was in my bedroom. This doorbell is loud enough for my neighbors to hear. But you can adjust the volume. I have the same doorbell on my front door and they play to different tunes. Very easy to install I had my granddaughter go through the many many rings until I found one that I like. Lots to choose from.
