Reading everyone else's success stories here and of course my SO's positive experience, I decided to give this a try. I figured for $200, I could be saving a ton on razors, cleanup and time so this would pay off in the long run. I plan to do a series of postings to share my weekly experience and will post here. I just completed my first round on 6/30/2018 so this review is on my initial impressions. I'm going to keep an area as the control so I can compare the effectiveness of the treatment. Instructions were clear and concise where I compared my skin color tone to the one in the manual. I'm somewhere between 3 and 4 and thick dark hair. Next, I shaved as instructed and wore the included glasses before zapping the effected areas. My unit had no issues producing the charge consistently each time and on some occasions I could feel the heat and smell a tiny amount of singed hair. Boy does this thing produce an amazing amount of light. I'll post a picture next week to show the control area and the treated area.

Amazing product!!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to anyone who meets the requirements (e.g hair and skin color). Only after 1 session I no longer have any hair growth on my sideburns and upper lip, I got the same results on my legs after 3 sessions, and noticed a significantly slow hair growth under my armpits (can go without shaving my armpits for more than 2 weeks). The bikini area will probably need 10 sessions as recommended by the company which I have not completed yet. Overall I am pleased with the IPL machine and what the hair removal machine can do in the privacy of your own home and it SO much less expensive than going to the salons. And I know it since I have done it in the past.
