Exceptional!! Wow, no joke on the sturdiness of the cable. Comes with these brackets with two screws you slide into the cables to prevent them from sliding. There are two choices on hanging the pegs. Impressed with the stainless steel brackets. Due to the two options to hang cable, we were able to use the inside of the window sill. Happy with this idea as it is now a pseudo curtain with our child's artwork. Does not come with clips. But found some for cheap.

I'd love to leave a review that says this looks really nice and was easy to install and I love it for hanging my kids art work on the wall, but there's a problem. The included hardware is absolute crap. I mean big smell steaming pile of it. The drywall inserts wouldn't bite and ended up only spinning in the wall. The mounting screws both striped out way to easily not to mention the allen screw holes were not even lined up straight. It's like they went straight to the cheapo junk pile for the mounting hardware. As it is now I'm off to Home Depot to get some proper drywall inserts to try and salvage this waste of time.

I'm gonna be real.. ordered this wire to separatw my room from the hallway of my shared apartment.. installed it myself with a power drill and it was pretty simple. Tip: YouTube "curtain rod wire set with clips".. it gives you a 3 minute display of some random man.. helpful. Just make sure the volume is off BC there's this horrific elevator/jeapordy music hybrid hell playing in the background. Overall I live this f**** wire. Hung this tapestry myself and I'm a lady. Yup. Buy this wire. All your problems will be solved. P.s - go for the hoop hooks as seen in my picture. Not advertised with this wire but do a little extra searching. Worth it. Will never fall off. Ok thanks bye

Be careful following the instructions for installation. I ran into two issues:

1) They show using the hinged portion of the bracket as an easy way to gain leverage to screw in the mounting post. If you do, you'll find out the hard way that there is a very small screw that serves as the hinge for the two bracket pieces. Even with a pre-drilled hole, that little screw will shear off under pressure. I ended up breaking the first bracket screw and had to manufacture a replacement hinge pin. I removed the screw and bracket piece before installing the second side, which prevented me from breaking another screw, but made it really tough to screw in the mounting post without damaging the threads on the post, or scratching the decorative bracket.

2) Contrary to what the instructions say, I recommend threading the mounting brackets onto the cable BEFORE you try cutting the cable. Even with the "right" tool, as indicated by the instructions, the cable tends to catch on the cable clamps once it's been cut. I had one cable strand that caused me some heartache, but with patience, I got it threaded back into place and securely clamped.

I was able to Macgyver enough solutions to make this work, and once up, I've been happy with the look. That said, I suspect this could turn out to be a frustrating item to install for the average person who follows the instructions provided.

Cheap installation screws and horrible anchors provided. Both screws stripped immediately upon installation. Got creative by attaching the piece that screws onto the installation screw and using that to twist into the wall. That piece was intended to be put on after the installation screw was secured in the wall. You're best off just installing into studs if you have the option or using better anchors. Also, there were no installation instructions or brand name on the package to look up for instructions. On the plus side, the end result looks nice, but the installation pieces are poorly manufactured. Would not buy this item again.
