Very firm, not very large, but a well made product.

This is much smaller and vastly more firm than I expected. It's about 20% smaller than the ones you typically see at places like Walmart (in fact, the replaced one from Walmart that didn't even last a week) and the memory foam is extremely firm. To put it in terms that I think most people would understand, I'd say it's about half again harder than a normal seat in an average car.
So, if you want a really firm support and you don't mind that it's not very large, this is the perfect thing for you. I personally don't like it, but I bought it for my girlfriend to use and she loves it, so obviously my opinion is not universal. I'll also add that the construction seems of high quality and I expect it to last for several years. However, the washable cover itself doesn't seem to fit it very well (mine doesn't look nearly as nice as the pictures) and it's also exceptionally thin, so if you ever spill something on it the odds are favorable that you're going to stain the pillow as well.
In a nut shell, for my taste, it firmly fits the description of a 3 star product, "It's okay".

I was skeptical when it arrived all squashed up. I fluffed it out and moved all the memory foam bits around. After a full day of expanding, it was and still is awesome! Should've gotten this a long time ago.
