My puppy hates when I touch her paws! She is a Pomeranian and chihuahua mix and I've heard from a couple people that chihuahuas are very iffy about people touching their paws. & my pomchi is very territorial of them. Not like she will bite you or anything but she always pulls them away. I was hoping when I bought this that it was completely silent so she wouldn't be afraid or run away from me. Definitely not the case! It literally takes me FOREVER to file her nails.

Ok, my dog hates getting her nails trimmed and i have been looking for awhile for something that will work for her and not scare her. This is PERFECT! Takes a long time if the nail is long, but ive just been trimming her nails everyday and she loves it. It doesnt hurt her and is very easy to use. Does the job. I just took off the entire cover to make the file completely visible and usable. I have a medium size dog with pretty strong large nails. It's a little difficult to use with the smaller openings. But overall gets the job done and my dog doesn't mind it. Keep in mind, my dog is a scardy cat, but stays still for this. It does make a loud vibration sound, when in use.

This thing is great. Our old nail trimmer (a dremmel style tool) took one person holding the dog and one person trimming the nails. With this I'm able to do it all on my own as the dogs aren't scared of the grinder at all.
