I'm using it for saltwater aquarium bulkhead when had limited space between aquarium and the wall. Combine with threaded 1 in. elbow, cut significantly overall outside tank clearance. I ordered some bulkhead that claim space saving but in fact not true. Happy with this purchase, I ordered more.
