My daughter has been wanting a door lock and I purchased this door lock for her bedroom because her bedroom didn't have a lock. Once it was installed she tested it out and was very happy. To be able to lock it you have to turn it horizontally and it will lock and and to unlock it turn it vertical.

We bought almost identical door levers on Amazon a few years ago, but a different brand; the handles kept falling off and the screw wouldn't tighten enough to stay put. These are by far superior to our others! It's heavy duty, sturdy, and the handle can't fall off. So easy to install. Perfect for the bathrooms and bedroom privacy. Includes a key to quickly unlock if needed.

The dummy door handles are nice quality. The manufacturers really need to make a video and provide a link on how to remove the rose plate. I never figured it out. I tried for about 30 minutes. I give this product about 3.5 stars. I was expecting double sided right and left handles. One of the pictures misled me. So buyer take note, this it a one side of the door right and left handle only set. I ordered a second set bc I had a hard time finding a rubbed oil bronze right and left dummy set. Seems like other manufacturers make only a right and are out of stock for the left. Who has time for that? My work around for the impossible rose plate was a 90 degree Philip's screwdriver. See picture. I made a small pilot hole for both screws and manually screwed in the impossible one (very slowly) with my 90 degree screwdriver. And now my project is done. It shipped super fast too.
