This is the first time I've bought a rash guard for myself and everything about it is great, except I would recommend putting sunscreen on as well. The first day I wore it, I spent several hours swimming, snorkeling and picnicking on a beach, sometimes in partial shade, without putting sunscreen under the rash guard, and afterward had a mild (light pink) sunburn especially on my arms and shoulders. I then wore it on subsequent days on the beach and at the pool, putting sunscreen on first, and had no issues with sun exposure. For comparison, the rash guards that I buy for my kids are SPF 50 and they never get sunburned where the rash guard covers them. Maybe that's just the difference between the SPF 30 and 50 protection ratings, but be aware that there is still a danger of mild sunburn when wearing this rash guard with no other sun protection.

I love the cool design, perfect fit, comfortable fabric, and practical thumbholes and grip hem. It even added extra warmth in cooler water (and I am the first one to get out of the water if it's cold!). I would love it more if it offered more sun protection but it's not a big problem to have to add sunscreen. I'm very happy with the purchase.

This is a functional water sport garment. It must fit smoothly and "skin-tight" to keep you warm in cold water. It fits me just as expected, "skin-tight". The sleeves have a well designed thumb loop/opening to assist if you are wearing this under a wetsuit, or drysuit. It is very pretty, and matching pants can be bought separately. (They fit properly smooth and tight also). It is cut and fit very accurately for my body, stays smooth and flat while you twist and flex better than most "skins" (Rash-guards) that I own. Plus it is really pretty! Can't wait for warm water/weather so I don't have to hide it under my drysuit!

This Platinum Sun top absolutely exceeded my expectations. Living in northern MI, I never thought I'd be looking to purchase a "rashguard" shirt. Honestly, I had never heard of one until I started searching for long sleeve, durable sun protective clothing on Amazon. I'm extremely sensitive to the sun and burn within minutes, even on overcast days, so less than 100% coverage is not optional. My husband, family & friends get together annually for a big kayak trip down one of Michigan's beautiful rivers. They wind and flow through some of the most gorgeous forests you could imagine. Mother Nature plays a role in the condition of the river; is it high, low, fast, slow, trees down, obstructions, exposed rocks, washed out banks, etc. I needed a top that was durable enough to face whatever Mother Nature built for us this year. We received over 16 feet of snow last winter, add to that non stop rain during the month of July, so currently our rivers are high and fast. I knew I needed to inevitably be ready to run into a few downed trees, washed out banks and rock piles. My clothing needed to be durable enough not to tear the first time a branch snagged ahold of me. This Platinum Sun Rashguard fits as described, has soft, smooth seams and perhaps my favorite detail ~ the rubberized hem that keeps the shirt in position.

I'd absolutely recommend this to friends & family. I'll be purchasing other colors for running, swimming, boating and kayaking and just good ol' lounging around.

I'm 5'9", 125lbs. The Medium fits me perfectly. If I were "bustier" it'd still fit perfect, there's room for a fuller bust.

I knew that I would love this top! I needed something to cover the vitiligo on my upper body and avoid sun damage. I'm 5'8" and 144 lbs; normally wear a Medium top/blouse. But after reading some of the reviews, I ordered a Large and it fits great! The colors are MY colors! The diagonal zipper in front makes it easier for this 66 year old to get into! The material is a little bit heavier that another rash/sun guard that I have, but still very comfortable. And it covers my mid-section...the rubberized elastic band at the bottom keeps the top in place. This will definitely be a terrific addition to your swimwear wardrobe...or just wearing anywhere when you're out in the sun.

I am so far in love with this rash guard. It exceeded my expectations. As a larger woman and being long in the torso I have a hard time finding things that fit well and that I feel attractive in.

* Overall it fit snug but not too snug.
* The arms are nice and long so that when using the thumb holes it doesn't pull.
* The length is great for my long torso and I love that it has a double grip strip on the bottom hem to hold it in place.
* The fabric is thick, soft and luxurious feeling. The pattern didn't fade in places where it was stretched more than others.
* The colors and pattern are beautiful and I feel it is very flattering to my larger size.

I'll update my review after I use it on my diving trip in Indonesia.
